Happy Spring!

We took a few cute pix before we left for church last Sunday so I thought I'd share. I was so good about taking pictures of Paeton when she was a baby and now I've realized...I've really slacked off. So this is my recent effort to pull the camera out a little more often. We're so happy spring is here and we can wear 'happier' clothing than what we sport all winter long!

Easter Basket #3

Here's Paeton (age 22 months) on Easter morning. She's super excited to look for her third and final easter basket. This one is from Grandma and Grandpa Marx.

Showing us the frog she got in her easter basket from Grandma and Grandpa Ulrich.

Looking for her basket - not by the high chair.

Not by her toy baskets...

There it is - in the dining room!

Dragging it out - it's a heavy one.

She could barely walk with it.
What'd I get, What'd I get???

A princess backpack - pronounced 'pak pak' by Paeton.
Anything left?

So silly!

Easter Egg Hunt & Easter Basket #2

Saturday, we spent the day in Oshkosh with Jodi's family to celebrate Easter. Jodi's parents had an easter egg hunt for the 4 grandchildren. I didn't know if Paeton would understand yet what was going on - but she totally did! It was SO windy and chilly even though the sun was shining. That's why we're all bundled up.

Here's Paeton finding an egg.

Our niece, Irie - almost 6 yrs old.

Our nephew, Leo - almost 4 yrs old.

Our niece, Fern - almost 2 yrs old and 1 week older than Paeton.

Paeton and I finding an egg in the tree.

Paeton so excited about finding all those eggs - her arms are full.
Some of the fish in Grandpa Ulrich's pond.

Easter eggs I had colored earlier that day while Paeton was sleeping.

Easter Basket #1

Jodi and I decided to give Paeton her easter basket from us on Saturday instead of Easter Sunday because A) we had plenty of time to do it (i.e. no rush) and B) she is super spoiled and was receiving several easter baskets. We told her she could look for her basket as soon as her breakfast was finished - this is her rushing. Looking back at these pictures just makes me laugh - she's in her Packers t-shirt (she loves sports) and she has crazy hair - not my vision for easter but it worked.

Just found her basket and is starting to open each plastic egg.

Big carrot!

Jodi helping her open a new puzzle that was in her basket.

She loves tennis balls - especially the super bright yellow ones. She received a whole bag of them in her basket to use outside.

Our little bunny.

Her basket from us before it got all torn apart.
Also in the basket was a new truck and 2 new books to read. She had a fun time playing with everything before we left for Oshkosh that morning.

First park visit of 2010

Late Friday afternoon, Paeton and I went to visit Jodi at work which was so nice because we hardly ever get to do that. Kohl's had a 1/2 day for the Easter weekend which gave us this opportunity after Paeton's nap. We went out to dinner w/daddy at Qdoba (yum!) and then over to Wirth Park to take advantage of the fantastic weather.

Paeton loves how daddy pushes her so high on the swing.

Paeton and one of her trucks - she's really into trucks these days. When we ride around in the car, she's constantly yelling 'BIG TRUCK' even if it's just a Suburban she sees :)

Playing with her dump truck in the sand with dad.

This is Paeton's first time on 'merry go round' thing at the park -she loved it!

Silly before school

Paeton wore this new dress my mom got her to school on Friday and it just made her silly. I think she just liked the feeling (finally) of wearing a dress without tights. Even her hair was crazy this morning.

Definitely ready for a gymnastics class...

Definitely!

Playing the 'freeze' game!

Love for momma...

And for her baby brother.

Kisses for her baby brother too - so sweet!

Playing Outside in March

Paeton gets very excited when it's time to go outside and play. She's got her tennis ball and she's ready to go.

Paeton in her sandbox.

Paeton getting upset when Kona keeps getting in her way.

Playing on the swings - still one of her favorite outdoor activities.

Paeton's 'pouty' face when I tell her it's almost time to go inside.

Getting sleepy in the swing.

It's a Boy!

Jodi and I went Friday morning for our 20 week ultrasound. We found out that we have a little man on the way and from what they can tell, he's super healthy. We are so excited and so thrilled to be blessed with Ulrich Baby #2.
And just for the record, I'm holding Jodi's coffee in this picture....not my own :)

Paeton,Yertle & March Madness

Paeton's latest best friend in the plush category is Yertle the Turtle. Yertle has watched many basketball games with Paeton throughout the 2010 NCAA Tournament. Yertle also sleeps right next to her at night.

Paeton is OBSESSED with watching basketball. She's been really into basketball since before Christmas but now more than ever. She loves to just sit on the couch and watch the games. Jodi, of course, is thrilled.

Still watching...
