Paeton's school had a patriotic parade today in honor of Independence Day tomorrow. Evan and I arrived early so we could watch Paeton's class march in the parade. She wore the visor she made in class and proudly waved her handmade firecracker. The kids were told they had to stay in the parade line the entire time and they couldn't run to their parents - they just had to wave. Paeton listened really well to these instructions; I was SO proud of her. Evan loved watching Big Sis - he kept waving at her and yelling her name - SO cute!
